It’s always a pleasure photographing jobs for John at Terra Flora Design Associates! I absolutely adore their attention to detail!!
As a part of my quest to introduce people to small businesses that do things right, I wanted to show off the fabulous Marsha Brown Creole Kitchen and Lounge in New Hope, PA (amazing staff and food, and an incredible place for rehearsal dinners and intimate weddings). The general manager/chef Caleb is always a pleasure to work with, and they always put together an incredible spread of food! Add to that the architecture and ambiance of a beautiful old stone church in the heart of New Hope, and I’m a fan for life!
The gallery below shows off Marsha Brown a bit, and also, my FAVORITE new album. The Gallery Album! Very reminiscent in my mind to the catalogs put together for gallery and museum shows, the linen bound Gallery Album is fully archival, and absolutely gorgeous. Albums are available in 11×13 or 7.5×9 Inch sizes, with 5 different linen colors, and all come with matching slipcases or presentation boxes. All photos are printed onto a heavyweight fine art paper, and then hand-bound to stand the test of time. Same size and smaller parent copies are available.
Just give me a call if you want to take a look in person!
The weather definitely has not been very cooperative this Spring and Summer, but after a few rain-outs, I finally got a chance to take a Heather and Jeff on a beautiful sunny-day stroll through Washington Crossing Park. I have to say, the sunlight was worth the wait, and Heather and Jeff were tons of fun! Can’t wait for your wedding this fall! By then I’ll be a married woman (oh, wow, scary)! Here are a few quick picks from the sitting! I want number 6 as a HUGE gallery wrap on MY wall! Such a lovely moment in the sun!
Had to take a minute to show off my new Recycled Paper Custom Cards! Like everyone it seems, I’m looking for newer and better ways to save the planet, but there is absolutely NO tradeoff on quality in these cards!!! No more expensive than the watercolor paper, and no less stunning! These cards have an incredible feel in your hand, and a new matte recycled paper cardstock. Great for Thank You Cards, Holiday Cards, Save-The-Date’s, Shower Invitations, and More! This photo is of my personal Thank You Cards (the photo is Dave and I after sunset on the shore of Lake Michigan - thank god for tripods and sweet people walking by willing to hit the shutter release). Want some of your very own? Give me a call or email to talk about all the different options available!
Sorry for slacking on the blog lately. So many weddings and wedding plans, and so little time… I promise to try to catch up in the next few weeks!!! A few weeks back my little sister and I ran through New York looking for a killer black dress for her to wear for my wedding this September (I asked my bridesmaids to find a killer little black dress that makes them feel like a rock star) and we found her PERFECT dress at a little boutique at 312 East 9th Street simply called Meg. Meg herself talked us through the choices, and even promised Dana that if she needed absolutely ANY alterations done, she could come back up to a week before the wedding. I love small businesses that get it right, and Meg definitely got it right!!! Great designs and workmanship, incredible tactile fabric choices, and killer customer service!!! After looking through all the other designs on her website, I think I want a whole new wardrobe of Meg! I even found a hot little number that I could wear while shooting!!!!
Looking for the perfect dresses for your ladies? If you get into Manhattan, stop by and see Meg! I’m pretty sure she’s got a July sale going on right now too! Here are a few fun outfits on her website (not Dana’s dress though - you’ll all have to wait for the wedding to see that)!!!
