Artists of Yardley Member Show: Devon John Chebra of Devon John Photography Wins 3rd Place Award for Two-Dimensional Art

I just started showing my personal fine art work again this year (sadly, for the first time since college) and have been loving how much inspiration I’ve gotten from joining the Artists of Yardley. It’s a diverse and talented group of artists, and I am proud to be a part of their 7th annual member show. It’s even more of an honor that my piece entitled “Puppy Love #1″ was awarded third place in the Two-Dimensional Art category.

Congratulations to all the award winners, and all the members involved in the show!

The Artists of Yardley Art Center is located on Patterson Farm, 949 Mirror Lake in Yardley, PA. Gallery Hours: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 12 – 5pm through June 3rd

Included in the photos below are numerous pieces of art by the membership (you really should go out and see them in person) rounded out by a chandelier that I am slightly obsessed with that hangs in the entry way. Enjoy!

Giselle and Nick – An Adorable Manayunk Engagement Sitting

A Wedding Day Photo Walk Through Princeton, NJ

Melina and Brendan got married on a gorgeous day in early March, and took a walk with me from the ceremony at St. Paul’s, through downtown Princeton to The Peacock Inn where their lunch reception was being held. Isabella and Jacob – Another Fun Family Session

I first met Klissia and Scott a few months after their son Jacob was born in 2010. This time, Klissia emailed to let me know that little Isabella had joined the family! Isabella is definitely just as animated as Jacob, and I had so much fun with the whole family! Here are a few sweet moments.

Michael called a few weeks back asking to set up a sitting with his wife, Tiziana and their gorgeous 2 month old Massimo as a surprise birthday present for Tiziana! I might be a little biased, but I thought that was the greatest idea ever, and was thrilled when Tiziana was just as excited to see me again as I was to see her! Amazing Grace – An Inspirational Update

I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for the song Amazing Grace, but in 1999 while working at Sotheby’s in New York I had the privilege to attend the opening reception for the Allen Ginsberg memorial sale. At the reception, all kinds of people shared excerpts from Ginsberg’s work, but the one that has haunted me through the years was Paul Simon, alone with a guitar in hand, singing Ginsberg’s lyrics to Amazing Grace. After years of searching, I’ve finally found the lyrics – thank you internet!!!
