Devon was Fabulous!

Devon and Dave created the most amazing photos of our wedding. Devon was so receptive to all ideas for creative arrangements, but above all, I trusted her instincts as she is the artist. My photos are such a true reflection of an amazing day, and her service after the event was wonderful. We requested more candid photography, and she just melted into the event seamlessly, catching moments that I didn't even know happened! I also really appreciate the use of lighting, both natural and what was in the building, to make my skin look like it was glowing!

Devon is just perfect. We witnessed her work and personality first hand at our friends wedding in May 2007. I wasn't even engaged yet but took her card just in case! A month later I was engaged and the first thing that popped in my head was to call Devon. She really makes you feel at ease and her services are worth every penny! You meet with Devon to do your engagement pictures and it just helps you to get comfortable and learn what she needs from you - which is pretty much nothing except for enjoy your wedding day and she'll capture every precious moment of it. Devon also loves weddings so she actually wants to be at your wedding - not like some photographers that I've witnessed that just seem to be there taking posed photographs. Devon was amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the moment we met her, we knew we wanted her to be our photographer due to her friendliness and passion for her work. She took wonderful engagement photos several months before the wedding, so we were already comfortable working with her. She and her assistant, Will, were so much fun to work with, and she even went above and beyond by doing small things like fixing my bridesmaid's eyehook on her dress when it was stuck. Devon was such a joy to work with. Our pre-wedding consultation put me so at ease- she really seemed to have a great sense of our style and the things that were important to us. Let me start by saying that Devon made our wedding day an even more wonderful experience because of her concern and professionalism. Devon went out of her way to make sure that she captured every emotion of the day from the first time my father saw me in my wedding dress, to when my husband and I exchanged vows, to the reception. Not only did Devon make our day memorable by taking the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen, but she went above and beyond that day by making sure that we were comfortable (she even got us drinks when we couldn’t get to the bar). She was never in the way, nor was she ever obvious to our quests. We were so surprised when we got the proofs, she took so many wonderful pictures, and captured what seems to be every moment of the day. I love looking at our wedding album. It makes me feel like I am celebrating the day all over again.
We have been married for almost three years now, and last May my husband and I had our first baby, a little girl. We have had Devon take pictures of our little girl from day one. Devon has taken incredible photos that my husband and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. In short, whenever we have a memorable moment, I always want Devon to be there to capture it.

I truly believe that family can be our toughest critics. However, I have to say that Devon never fails to capture moments in such a way that ALWAYS touches my heart and usually even brings tears… NO LIE! Even after I’ve seen the pictures a few times, the novelty just doesn’t wear off!
